That's a reasonable explanation, though letting Faried walk  and waiting a year to make a run at Love would require a degree of patience I would describe as unDolan-like.

They'd be looking at a starting five of Felton, JR Smith, Melo, Faried, and Bargnani. That is not just a bad defensive team, but also a potentially self-destructive one. That's a bag of cats.
