I think this team is aa lock for a top 5 pick, more likely top 3

It is mathematically impossible to be a lock for a top 3 pick (unless you own all but two of the picks in the lottery).

Fyi, we're not alone in enjoying the results of Ainge's tank job and rooting for hard-fought losses.  Scroll to the bottom of this article to read Bill Simmons' hilarious admission that he's already rooting for us to lose:  http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/81044/early-season-nba-surprises-shootaround-a-k-a-sixers-shootaround

You know who’s worse than I expected? The No Rondo Celtics. Since they trot out a never-ending slew of seventh and eighth and ninth men, there’s never a moment when you say to yourself, “Wow, that guy’s out there?????” They’re deceivingly putrid. Unlike 1997 and 2007, there’s no Marty Conlon or Allen Ray logging crunch-time minutes. There’s no Todd Day or Gerald Green jacking up 25 shots. There’s no M.L. Carr butchering last-minute decisions, or Bassy Telfair, Delonte West and Rajon Rondo all playing at the same time. The 2013-14 Celtics field a bunch of likable guys who play hard, keep you semi-entertained, look half-decent for 43 minutes ... and then become unhinged in the last five. It’s actually kinda perfect. What’s better than six straight months of hard-fought losses with the best draft in 29 years looming? WHO'S UP FOR SOME HARD-FOUGHT LOSSES?!?!?!?!????

The best part, to me, was this part on Wallace:

Kudos to Wallace, by the way. He’s been amazing — he plays harder than anyone on the team, he makes loony comments after games, he’s in total denial that the Celtics stink, and he’s probably 283 percent worse than he thinks he is. I can’t think of a better guy to help us finish 14-68. He’s my LVP through three games.

So accurate.  Especially the bold.

Wallace is awful.  But hopefully we keep playing him 37 minutes a night and benching Jeff Green entire 4th quarters.  It's for the greater good!

It's true.

After watching this mess, my prediction of 22-60 is wildly optimistic.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

I hope we play Jeff because I think he could have trade value but playing Wallace will sure lose us games, so agreed on that.

Yup.  Simmons strikes again.

Maybe the plan is to let Wallace live up to the nickname "Crash" and play hard until he concusses himself into forced medical retirement.

In a team leading 37.3 minutes a game, Gerald Wallace is averaging 7.3ppg (7th best, BOS) and 3.3rpg (tied 5th, BOS).

7 points and 3 rebounds in 37 minutes a night ... Pathetic!

Like I told a friend, maybe HE should try padding his stats.

One of the main problems I have with Green is simply this:

Jeff Green - 6'9", 235 lbs, SF/PF

Andrew Wiggins - 6'8", 197 lbs, SF
Julius Randle - 6'9", 248 lbs, PF
Andrew Gordon - 6'9", 212 lbs, PF
Jabari Parker - 6'8", 241 lbs, PF
Montrezl Harell - 6'8", 230 lbs, PF

He seems pretty redundant and I think we've learned our lesson as a team on 6'8" PFs.  Dante Exum could be nice and fit in with both Rondo & Green, but otherwise the draft picks all seem to clash with our two best projected 2014 players and I would much rather have Rondo on a competitive team than Jeff Green

Can we change Wallace's nickname to "Totalled"?
