Green is overpaid, he has really failed to emerge as a leader or focal point for this team with Rondo out, and if he isn't traded sometime in the next season or so, it'll only be because he's making too much money.
I think Green will end up spending the latter part of his career much like Caron Butler -- making MLE money and getting passed around from one team to another, good enough to keep a job but not good enough to really make anybody want to pay to keep him.
I think Green is just a complementary player, but a great one who can on any given night step up to be more than that. If you put him on say Houston or Memphis he would be huge. He just isn't a go to guy in my opinion.
He is a great corner three shooter, a strong finisher, great athlete, great defender.
I don't really think he's overpaid either. He just needs the right fit. If he was playing on a team with someone like Dwight or ZBo or Marc Gasol who was being doubled in the post he would be great shooting from the corner and driving.
