I think Wallace is calling out Crawford---the ball just sticks in his hands, as the shot clock winds down....we gotta get rid of this bum.
Um, sorry, but no.
Crawford has played a total of 20 minutes in the first two games. He's taken 6 shots and has 6 assists while only turning the ball once. He has been, in fact, one of our better players.
The main candidate for this dubious distinction by Wallace is Avery Bradley, who hasn't seen a brick he hasn't liked this season. Of the players who played 40+ minutes total over the first two games, he's taken the second highest number of shots (27, behind Green's 29), and made the second lowest (8, behind Lee's 7). So he has to get a clue, and stop chucking it. It
doesn't work.
A distant second possibility is Jeff Green, who had a disastrous shooting night on Friday, too. But given that he's expected to shoulder a large amount of the scoring load, I doubt one can accuse him of padding stats.
