Who was padding stats last night?  Please point them out I would love to see.
It wasn't happening.
I think it's pretty obvious who he was talking about, there was only one guy with stats good enough to be considered padded.  How often are rookies able to grab 18 boards their second game?  I'd assume he's talking about Vitor positioning himself for the rebound at the cost of helping his teammates on defense (whereas KG would always do the opposite).  Meanwhile Sullinger, a guy who has earned minutes and a chance to prove himself, only played 10 minutes despite scoring 10 points and getting to the line 7 times in his first 6min.

Wallace probably thinks he's sticking up for his NBA teammates who had to risk everything to get where they are against a guy who started signing pro contracts when he was 14 and thinks he came here to earn bigger money.

I have no clue if he's right, but Wallace clearly has 1000x more of an inside scoop than any of us, and there's no reason for him to talk crap unless he's seen/heard something.

There is no such thing as padding stats for rebounds.  It's only good.  There was no one padding stats.

Vitor played a great game, much better than Wallace.
There's definitely padding stats for rebounds, that's undisputed.  There's also padding stats for blocks.  These things aren't always good for the defense, see Sean Williams or Kevin Love.

I'm not saying Vitor is doing this, I'm just saying that's obviously who Wallace is talking about with 18 boards and 6 blocks.  On the other hand, the signs are there.  He's a rookie who obviously wants to prove himself.  I saw him steal the ball right out of the hands of Bradley with no defenders around.  I also saw him leave Sanders alone on the baseline to needlessly help on the rookie Greek PG in the paint while Sanders cut behind him for a guaranteed dunk.  He has a bit of a "show-off" mentality by catching every FT pass with one hand.

The "starter sitting in the 4th" is Sully who only played 10min.
That's hilarious.

Unbelievable.
Incontestable apparently.

Watch the game not the boxscore.

Are you sure you watched the game?  Because it sounds like you're just assuming that Vitor could only have grabbed 18 rebounds in his second game--OMG!--because he didn't contest shots and positioned himself for the rebound.  The guy blocked 6 shots and altered many more.  I don't know how you could've "watched" the game and missed that.  He grabbed so many rebounds because he was in position to, which went hand in hand with him contesting and causing a lot of missed shots.  Seriously, I don't know what you see when you're watching these games.  You're are so wrong from who guards who or who does what.  It's not hard.

I watched the game, and what I saw wasn't so much padding as "hero ball" in the 4th. The team didn't run, didn't move without the ball, didn't keep the ball moving. It was like Tommy said, "The ball was sticking in a guy's hand." It was Jeff Green trying to be Paul Pierce with iso ball to a large degree, and not getting it done. Wallace taking long jumpers, that he is awful at, and bricking free throws, and Bass trying to create his own shots didn't help either.

Fav wasn't padding anything. He was just getting caught out of position trying to help on drives. That's the guards and forwards fault for putting into those positions. Yes, he also missed some rotations, and over helped a few times, but he's not the veteran on the floor.

Are you sure you even read my post?  I said I saw Vitor out of position ONCE, and have asserted multiple times that I'm not saying Vitor padded his stats.  I said Gerald Wallace was talking about Vitor, and then I disagreed with the premise that there's no such thing as padding stats.

I think you're letting your emotions get in the way of your posting.  Apparently you're still hurt about an argument you lost in the past?  Why don't you tell me how or why I'm wrong about who guards who with actual statements so I know what you're talking about instead of just making it personal.

Edit:  Oh you're talking about a month ago when you claimed Doc had the slower, older Pierce guarding SGs while one of the fastest players in league Jeff Green was guarding the SF?  I was merely recalling what I remembered seeing, then you came in and declared me wrong based on the evidence of what you remembered seeing.  Unless you've come up with a better argument than "because I said so," I don't know why you're randomly questioning my memory and asserting your point of view as the right one again without offering any proof or evidence.

I wish we could hear those times Vitor was whispering to the Bucks and convinced them to go up for shot attempts half heartedly around him so he could pad his stats.  Maybe he slipped them a few bills for their trouble.
