Yeah... I see Bradley as a "PG Stopper".  A little rascal you throw in to cause headaches for the league's elite point guards.

I've always felt he was too small to be a starting SG.

But anyways... this team lacks a lot more than just an "all-around SG".

Yes, our biggest problem will be the guy who's about 8 inches taller than that.
Was Ray Allen doing a much better job on those guys? Have taller guys actually been taking advantage of Bradley's height, or is this just worrying about something that is far from a serious problem?

From my eyes no.

I thought maybe bradley would struggle against taller guys but when I watch the games he doesn't. Its not like guys like kobe wade  and joe johnson (who are some of the best post sg's) have taken advantage.

When Bradley struggles on D to me itit's just him struggling in general. One game JR Smith lights him up and another Bradley dominates him. I don't think having 2 inches will bring consistency.

You also have fat pgs like raymond felton who killed Bradley last year. But then Bradley kills another fat pg in jameer nelson.

So for I don't see the correlation. I see some inconsistencies in bradley. Yeah maybe he can be exposed sometimes for being a little shorter. Dont you think taller or less athletic sg's get exposed for being to slow footed as well?

Take a look at the quality 50+ win playoff teams in recent years.

The vast majority of them have two things.

1. A quality point guard who can run the pick and roll.

2. A quality center with legitimate size who can protect the rim.

Team that don't have those things yet still win a lot of games tend to have a serious advantage in another area . . . e.g. LeBron or Kobe.

Right now, with Rondo sidelined, our team has neither of those things, and we certainly don't have a transcendent talent elsewhere to make up for our roster construction.  So our team stinks.

There's still a very good chance that Rajon Rondo will play in about 75% of the Celtics' games this season.

You seem to be making the toddler argument that; "if I can't see it right now, it doesn't exist."
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

One of the best kept secrets in basketball is that in todays NBA, quality SGs have become one of the most rare commodities you can have.  There just aren't many out there.

But still not worth overpaying for like say the talented big man.

Right.  Because they don't have the impact a big man has.

But this is one reason I think Lee still has value.  There just aren't that many true SGs in the league who can play defense, hit the three, and also put the ball on the floor a little.  Those guys will always be valuable on winning teams.

Celtics need him to get hot, but chances are, without someone to play off of, he (like many of the other Celtics that they may want to move who could help a team) will not look as good.
