in a largely unrelated question, isn't it funny how skateboarders film each other all the time when they are skating at the local park, but basketball players never film each other's games in local pickup games?

I can't imagine having a friend tell me "while your waiting for next, can you film this next 3 on 3 game in case I make an awesome post move or behind the back pass?

even though i agree with you, i think its an elementary school.

yes, but the elementary school next to my house has an area that the city has decided to use for skateboarders after school is out. The whole park is used by people of all ages after school is out. Unfortunately for me it's next to the basketball court which often results in my ball flying into the skateboarders paths after I brick a shot, but we get along well

Seems like they should both get in trouble: the kid for skateboarding in a pedestrian sidewalk and the mother for an adult assaulting a minor.

A lot of times when people know they weren't paying attention when they should be they project their guilt by lashing out at the other person.  My wife's been cursed out multiple times by people whose unleashed, unsupervised dogs attacked our leashed dog on a walk.  They knew they were being negligent, so they got defensive about it by blaming the other person.

I dont skateboard but I snowboard and when a small kid or newcomer cuts in front of you while your doing your thing its near impossible to dodge, although skateboarding you can just jump.

I would've hit her back, but then again I would have seen someone coming right at me. (he wasn't looking ahead.)
