LA Clippers send Derrick Rose, DeMar DeRozan, 8.11, 8.16, 9.15, and 9.18
OKC Thunder send Ricky Rubio, Jeff Green, Steve Novak, Jordan Hill, 12.5, and 13.21
So the Clippers have two GMs, can't be bothered to make a single pick yesterday, but check in briefly to upend the table? If I don't want to be bothered with the the next three days either okay for me to start dumping talent and picks? I don't see it Nick.
Congrats to Lucky though.
Teams get blown up TWW. It happens. I did it last year with mine. The GMs in LA were very adament to get this done. I don't see foul play at hand, just two GMs that did a poor job negotiating.
Too true, but you didn't ever skip four picks in a row either. Are WeMadeIt and GomesFan going to be more involved now that they've bottomed out? "Foul play" isn't the standard, and wasn't in the Harden deal.
Still, if the Clippers like their return and want to come here and make a case for Rubio, Green, Hill, Novak and a couple of late picks for Rose, DeRozan, Mahinmi, Budinger, McLemore and Haslem, that would go a long way.
Anyway, that's my last word.
I don't auto pick for a team unless it is the 1st 2 rounds or unless it is clear the GM has left his team. The GMs in LA were around last night and commented they were holding off on making picks to confirm a trade, somewhere around midnight. I was too tired to process trades then so it came to this morning. When I had the trade in my possession. No auto picks were necessary or required by rules.
That Lucky turned those picks into the players he did is on his ability to draft well. he could have easily picked some bad talent.
It was not a good trade for LA but it is no more or less lopsided than a few earlier trades that occurred. And LA liked the deal and wanted the deal.
