I think people are upset because they lost contender status overnight through no fault of their own. I would be upset if I was in the West too. Not due to your GM'ing, but due to the situation.

Why is everyone whining. Get over it we made a deal lucky got better its a game that you all seem to take a little to serious.
Because for GMs who put a lot of time into the game, its frustrating to see the entire game shift because someone else makes a poor strategic decision.

Its a dynamic that happens in a lot of other games, if you play a crunchy strategy game that's a 3+ hour commitment only to see someone check out an hour in and then make poor moves while texting on their smartphone resulting in your competitor getting a huge leg up its massively frustrating.

It's also a part of the games typically. Frankly finding lopsided trades is the entire point of the CB draft, which is why I wouldn't enjoy playing.

I like discussing basketball, I don't like sending 30 PMs a day cold calling people and then being a snake-oil salesmen when I know they're going to get killed if I successfully talk them into the deal.

I apologize for trying to do this from my job.

The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

You do not need to apologize.

Obviously Rose could be had and everyone could just as easily contacted you about him and made offers. For all I know many did. Or maybe they didn't.

Lucky put together a package to get it done. Any other GM could have given a package to do it as well.

I'm doing it from work as well and if anything it should make you more patient. Maybe it's experience but I did better this year than years past when I wasn't working and was trade crazy.

I don't think the trade elevated OKC to a clear winner but I found see the frustration part.

Ugly trade...no two ways around it.

Sure, there is no foul play likely involved...but allowing such garbage ruins competitive balance.

Who wants Paul George for a 13th round pick?

Perhaps but my floor minutes are full and certain bench players are taking playing time cuts already. I needed another vet who is fine riding the bench but still plays hard. I also only have one more pick so good enough for me

Sold. Dibs. I called dibs, everyone.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

BLOCKBUSTER

LA Clippers send Derrick Rose, DeMar DeRozan, 8.11, 8.16, 9.15, and 9.18

OKC Thunder send Ricky Rubio, Jeff Green, Steve Novak, Jordan Hill, 12.5, and 13.21

So the Clippers have two GMs, can't be bothered to make a single pick yesterday, but check in briefly to upend the table? If I don't want to be bothered with the the next three days either okay for me to start dumping talent and picks? I don't see it Nick.

Congrats to Lucky though.
Teams get blown up TWW. It happens. I did it last year with mine. The GMs in LA were very adament to get this done. I don't see foul play at hand, just two GMs that did a poor job negotiating.

Too true, but you didn't ever skip four picks in a row either. Are WeMadeIt and GomesFan going to be more involved now that they've bottomed out? "Foul play" isn't the standard, and wasn't in the Harden deal.

Still, if the Clippers like their return and want to come here and make a case for Rubio, Green, Hill, Novak and a couple of late picks for Rose, DeRozan, Mahinmi, Budinger, McLemore and Haslem, that would go a long way.

Anyway, that's my last word.

Boston selects Patrick Beverly, because wdleehi left me in charge today.
Nice high upside guy this late.

Thank you. I've never felt more 'out of touch' with a draft in my life here. Beverly came on a little late last year, but by the end of the season he was the one finishing games for Lin. Tough pesky defender who put Toney Douglas out of a job in Houston who got better as the year went on.

Portland selects Byron Mullens. Helps sure up my center position if Bynum is out a while.

I think that's the last everyday starter on the board, but I may be wrong
