Orlando Kobes select George Hill

Hill is an excellent PG to have when you have Kobe on your team. You're doing a very admirable job building around him.

It seems like GMs are prioritizing fit over amassing talent (regardless of fit) more than in past CBDs. I think the tweak to rounds 1/2/3 and the relative absence of trades has led to that...

I've been thinking pretty much exclusively in terms of fit, but that's mainly because I started with Kobe and you kind of have to tailor the team to him.

Although as history shows, when the talent fits Kobe gets a lot out of it.  Just look at how the players from the 09-10 title teams have done since leaving LA.  It's basically a bunch of guys warming benches (one due to injury, but still).

Man, Allen Iverson is officially retiring today!

I was hoping to nab him in the 7th round...
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Alright everyone in round 4. The Clippers have the 11th pick and willing to move multiple 5th rounders to improve position.

I'm jealous of the overpay somebody is going to get. Heck, I would've given you 3.11 for 4.12 and multiple 5ths.

Just a heads up. Jeff Green was drafted not Danny Green. Danny is the one crossed out on the 1st page list not Jeff.

Another excellent pick for the Orlando Kobes.

the fit here is extraordinary. I think it was my first year in the CBD and someone had Kobe surrounded by the likes of Allen Iverson and Gilbert Arenas and some other wildly awful team mates to ever put alongside Kobe Bryant. The team was so bad as to be comical.

I think I'll go look it up to show an example of what not to do when you have Kobe Bryant

I remembered wrong. It was Tracy McGrady and Iverson that team was built around. Looked at other CBD Kobe teams though and this one is the best constructed that I saw.
