These 4 PGs are a lot more similar than you might think, and one of them was taken half a round later than the other three.

I agree. In fact, I'd put Lawson #2 on that list behind Conley (more defense + experience). I was surprised Lawson fell that far, and truth be told, he was one of two players that really made me try and move into the 3rd. Great pickup by you guys.

I would agree with this ranking. Conley is the only one you can give the definitive nod to, from simply looking at statistics. The guy's the whole package.

Lawson out-shot both Jrue and Lillard, and he did it on a playoff team. Sure, the little guy can't rebound, but Horford and KG can ;)

While on the Lawson/Horford/KG trio, I must say that is a super efficient shooting lineup so far. Horford's FT% last year was a huge fluke, having shot over 76% from the charity stripe up until last season.

No scrolling text advertising teams.
No GM fights.
Nobody quitting mid draft.
Is this really the CBDraft?

Just kidding. Nice change from some years.

Another change from previous years is that GM's aren't actually offering you a bag of nothing for your best players. Have yet to receive one offer for Harden. If this was a few years ago I would've gotten an inbox full.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Or, teams just don't want to mess with you after stealing two trades.

We are only half way through the first week but I'm really hoping it stays this way.

We've haven't hit voting/playoffs yet.

That brings out the absolute worst in people.

Even though, I have a feeling this year won't be as bad.

  • Everyone's excited for the new era.
Assuming Kobe comes back healthy, I'd argue the Magic are legit title contenders.  That's a helluva team you got there.

Other faves:

Boston - Kyrie will love that PNR game with Gasol and Kanter.

New York - Two elite bigs (with different skill sets) paired with Rondo?  That's nice.

Brooklyn - Don't sleep on the Nets; they have good pieces in place.

Philly - Should be a super-fun team.  I love Curry and Boogie together, and Favors should improve.

Chicago - Big Jrue fan here, and I think Chandler is great next to Aldridge.

Indiana - Potentially frightening duo.

Cleveland - Superb trio.  KG!

Detroit - TOTF right here.

Milwaukee - Conley and George together = grand theft auto backcourt.

Miami - The floor is spread!  I like Hayward and Parsons on the wing.

Atlanta - If healthy, very scary.  Truth!

Washington - Wall and Thompson is an excellent backcourt, and Noah brings a strong backbone for the interior D.  Strong core.

San Antonio - Potential for awesomest locker room ever (In all seriousness, wonderful blend of scoring, defense, and rebounding.).

Memphis - Ily and Pek are great pick-setters for CP3.  Great squad so far.

Houston - Trade one of the bigs for a solid PG and BAM! you're the favorite in the West.

Dallas - Fast breaks galore!

Lakers - This is the best frontcourt BY FAR.  I love the duo.

Clippers - One word: athleticism.  I like it.

Golden State - It's okay Roy, people will be watching your team this year.  Fun, scrappy squad.

Phoenix - Sleeper in the West.  TD and West will be great, and Butler is only going to get better.

Portland - Scary wings, scary wings everywhere.

OKC - Fun offensively, very good defensively.

Denver - These young boys will be putting points on the board.

Minnesota - Potentially mind-bogglingly soil-your-shorts-if-you're-the-other-team scary on defense.  Ibaka is a good fit next to LeBron.

Good luck to everyone!

So, here's a thought I have pondered.  Paul George started out as a SG, but is now a legit 6'8".  Many people generally view him as a 2/3, but I think I see him more as a 3/4.

I'm seriously considering playing Anderson at C, at times, with George at the 4.  This could be particularly beneficial against a team with Bron/Melo/Durant, who play them at PF as well.

I've lurked around in these drafts in the past, and the stupid drama was the #1 thing that kept me from signing up (#2 is that you get punished for being savvy in a way that other owners don't appreciate, but I'm not cocky enough to think that'll come up for me).  Glad to see basically none of that so far.  Really good-natured and fun up to this point.

Ryno at C? That'll be ugly...

It'd be interesting that's for sure - Euro/D'Antoni ball to the extreme.  None of Bron/Durant/Melo have a legit C alongside them yet, so it could match up ok against them.
