Either way they're the same age. Let me know when Lillard shuts down Kyrie.

Lillard doesnt have to. Kyrie will manage to shut himself down with injuries.

If you're tailoring your team to stopping Kyrie Irving, you're focusing on the wrong guy originally from Cleveland.

So, I may not be out of a meeting in time to make the 2.25.  Since it's the last pick of the round, is it ok if I make it a little later this afternoon?  It'd be 30-40 minutes late max.
No problem

The Sixers select DeMarcus Cousins who is finally going to "get it" this year (which might have to do with him being up for an extension).
Best talent left on the board, have fun!

No, I'm still focusing on that other guy also hence why I got Chandler.

Thanks Nick - hopefully I won't be late at all but these things tend to drag on.

Chandler had a hard time stopping Paul George, though.

So you got Chandler to stop Lebron? He wouldn't have a chance.

No one "stops" LeBron. The 2007-2008 Celtics couldn't stop LeBron with the best defense I've seen an NBA team play without resorting to actual felony level violence.

Having a top flight interior defender who can rotate correctly and keep LeBron from absolutely slicing you up is the name of the game. That gives you a chance to beat them.

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
Hawks (I'm the Hawks, right?) select:

Paul Pierce

Championship experience and old man strength all around.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

I never said I got Chandler to "Stop" Lebron. I got Chandler to help slow down Lebron.

I like it.  Wade and Pierce on the wing is pretty formidable, though not as formidable as it would've been 5 years ago.

Can't believe a couple of guys are still on the table.

From what I've learned here, to win you don't gear on stopping LBJ, you make sure that everyone else that you got stops or outplays his.

Debated taking Boogie Cousins at the 2.1 and pairing him with Wall but just couldn't pull the trigger.

Thanks. I like the pairing, but based on IP's experience with those two last year not everyone feels the same way. Still, old man basketball!
