  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I literally just said to air: "everyone's forgetting about Lillard."

I don't think no one forgot about him the thing is he is 23 and wasnt extremely efficient his first season. I gave Jrue the nod because of defense.

Same age as Holiday.

I Holiday had been a rookie this year, he would have run away with RotY

I hope so, he's a 3rd year NBA player.

Just to pile on too, now that the pick is not imminent, Houston is just straight jackin' fools at this point. BigAl got teeth y'all, don't be fooled.

I may be wrong, but I think Lillard played the most minutes last season.

Ron, do you check player comparison?

http://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/pcm_finder.cgi?request=1&sum=0&p1=holidjr01&y1=2013&p2=lillada01&y2=2013

Lillard: .429 FG, .368 3pt, .546 TS, .501 eFG, .844 FT
Holiday: .431 FG, .368 3pt, .496 TS, .466 eFG, .752 FT

Yes, difference is that Lillard had Aldridge and a much better supporting cast than Holiday. Look at Holiday's FG% by month each month it was declining because he had to do everything since he had such a crappy supporting cast.

Lillard is a rookie. His first year in the NBA and he already produced the same numbers as an All Star PG who played for 4 years.

And that him, not doing everything.
2019 CStrong Historical Draft 2000s OKC Thunder.

SG: Paul George / Aaron McKie / Bradley Beal
SF: Paul Pierce / Tayshaun Prince / Brian Scalabrine
PF: LaMarcus Aldridge / Shareef Abdur-Raheem / Ben Simmons
C: Jermaine O'neal / Ben Wallace

  • I left Indiana. Because it was horrible.
2-18 on the block. Let me know if you're interested. Also, Wade can be had.
CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Either way they're the same age. Let me know when Lillard shuts down Kyrie.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
The Sixers select DeMarcus Cousins who is finally going to "get it" this year (which might have to do with him being up for an extension).
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Small sample size, doesn't count. Didn't count for me, doesn't count for you.

Yoki, if I were you I'd go hard at team of the future now.

Nope, I like where I'm at right now.

James Harden was able to singlehandedly with a few other guys raise Houston's record from a measly .515 and 9th in the West to a whopping .549 and 8th.  Game changer!

...I guess what I'm saying is, he puts up good numbers but is he really that valuable?
Lead offensive options that score at .600 TS% are pretty darn valuable.
Damian Lillard (who has a .546 TS%, not bad of a drop off)
Average for a heavy rotation guard is around .543 TS%, (G playing 25+ MPG)

Going from top 10 to average is a big drop off. Especially when you consider that Harden was the focal point of the Rockets offense and most of the guys above him are dedicated 3 point shooters offensively.

  • Be the posts you wish to see in the world.
So, I may not be out of a meeting in time to make the 2.25.  Since it's the last pick of the round, is it ok if I make it a little later this afternoon?  It'd be 30-40 minutes late max.

Also hence why I said I gave Jrue the nod because of defense.
CB Draft, where you try to spin a bad post all-star split as a reason "why" you took a guy!  ;)

No you're wrong they played this year and Kyrie had 4 points and 4 TO's in 19 minutes. Jrue made a fool out of him. I think 4 games is more than enough especially when it has been pretty consistent since the most points Kyrie has ever had against Jrue is 12.

Lillard doesnt have to. Kyrie will manage to shut himself down with injuries.
