Same guys who said Doc saw it all in PRACTICE I imagine.....even though I told them 100 times doc doesn't hold practice....good thing all the team and the Boston Herald backed me up on that....WHy do I like the guy...for what he did in the PLAYOFFS....better known as THE ONLY TIME THAT MATTERS....but...only players understand that...oh well....it always goes this way. Stats....tell little under doc and no playing time....and Doc got rid of TA....hmmmm...one of the best defenders at his size.....sounds familiar.....and lets see...for one more year...well it has been a few more than one....TA is still going strong...so who was wrong there.....So you have a few guards that proved to be no good....you live with them.....or waive them....you can be your own huckleberry.
I will say that I liked TW's potential. He has good size and is athletic. I was rooting for him. I never thought TW got a real chance last year.
BUT...There was a lot in that post that didn't make any sense to me. Are you really going to try to justify your man-crush for him based on:
1ppg
2rpg
1.2apg
on 9mmg over 5 games in the playoffs.
Yeah, hold everything get TWill back because we cannot in any way replace those incredible numbers and effort. Cmon, he hardly played in the playoffs, he hardly played all year.
Add in the gun issue, no matter if he was charged or not. At this point I really doubt anyone in the C's brass is going to give much lenience if there is a sniff of any violent issue. It really doesn't matter if what he did, with the Hernandez stuff do you really blame DA / Owners for taking the over cautious route?
I mean everyone has their underdog guy that we hope would make it. It just isn't going to happen here for TWill. Best of luck to him.
He looked pretty good compared to our other PGs during the playoffs. Not sure that means we need to keep him, though.
Although you qualify it with "compared", but shooting 20% from the field is quite far from "pretty good" by any stretch of the imagination.
hey...your mancrush is from your experience, not mine.....you speak from your own life...not me....sorry pal. Otherwise....it is my point, I think he had a lot of potential, and I wasn't impressed as much with the other guards who are more experienced.
Your inability to understand internet lingo is a nice way to sidestep not having to defend your position on T Will.
Let me make it easy for you:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Man%20CrushYou were the one who claimed he stepped up his game in the playoffs. From watching the games, and looking at the stats.. it obviously wasn't the case.
You can like any player you want to, I don't care what you think either way. But if you make some claim that T Will deserves a roster spot from his play in last years playoffs, when there is no evidence that he did, then don't get mad if people don't agree with you.
