I know after summer league everyone has visions of KO starting, and we all love Sully who's shown he can start, but seriously, I think Ainge is going to tell Stevens to spend the first part of the year pumping up the trade value of the guys he want to unload.
Guy number one will be Gerald Wallace. I fully expect that he'll be starting alongside Jeff Green at the forward spots and playing heavy minutes. I'm going out on a limb here and predicting that this well be a bounce-back season for Wallace as there will be plenty of opportunities for fast-break points, rebounds, and put-backs (all his specialties). Hopefully, he can be dealt either by the deadline (because of good play) or next off-season (since he'll only have two years left on his deal by then). Either way get ready to see a lot him. Hopefully we'll get the good "Crash" of his pre-Net days.
I'm hoping that Humphries and/or Bass will be gone before the season starts but, if not, it would not surprise me at all if Bass is our starting (undersized) Center come opening. There really is no one else to take that spot right now and, just like Wallace, Ainge need to get his stats up for trade value purposes.
Could be a crazy, chaotic small-ball lineup to start the season with Rondo-Bradley-Green-Wallace-Bass. Backed up by Pressey/Lee/Sully/Olynyk off the bench. Am hopeful that Ainge can start pumping up guys' trade values and plan the next KG-style trade to pair a true star (hopefully a big) with Rondo.
