Quote
The New York Post reports that New York forward Carmelo Anthony wanted the Knicks to pursue a trade for Boston point guard Rajon Rondo ... and thought the team would.

Anthony told friends after the Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce trade to the Nets, he figured the Knicks would make a play for point guard for Rajon Rondo. Anthony believes Rondo would be the perfect piece and would be super motivated in New York to attempt to knock off Garnett and Pierce.

Nothing.

There's nothing realistic on that roster that's worth getting in return for Rondo.

I'd rather have Rondo.

Where's the news?

Anybody in his right mind would want Rondo on his team!

Bargnani for Rondo isn't a bad deal, if Boston is committed to tank next season.  Other than that...Rondo for Amare if New York throws in $20 million to cover half of Amare's remaining contract?  Again, only if Boston is going to tank.

What!?! Bargniani for Rondo is downright awful!

Don't agree. I would take a package of Felton and Shumpert for Rondo. I would also do Rondo/Bass for Chandler/Felton/Shumpert.

Rondo is being overvalued here, IMO.  Also, was I the only one impressed with how well Felton and Shumpert played vs us in the playoffs this year?

See, I look at it much differently. I don't think trading Rondo and tanking are one in the same. It is possible to be a good team without Rondo (especially if he's never the same following ACL surgery.)

What would we do with Shumpert? We already have Bradley.

Shumpert is much better than Bradley (IMO.)

Rondo may be overvalued, there is absolutely, definitely, positively no way that Felton and Shumpert are anything close to equal value for him.
