I would do Rondo, Bass and Lee for Felton, Shumpert and Chandler, all day!

PG-Felton
SG-Shumpert
SF-Green/Wallace
PF-Sully/Humph/Olynyk
C-Chandler

with Bradley, Brooks, Bogans and Colton Iverson coming off the bench. I'll take that team, anyday!

Cut Jordan Crawford and trim whatever fat you need to trim.
wow, just wow.  I've seen horrible trade ideas here before but this is one of the worst ever.

Rondo is far superior to Felton.  not even close.
Lee is what Shumpert hopes to be.  If Lee's shot is still AWOL this year and Shumpert progresses, I'd reconsider.
BB about equal to Chandler at this point.  Chandler was useless last year and horrible in the playoffs.  Bass wasn't shooting well but his D and Rebounding improved.  If Bass gets his shot back and can still guard the Brons and Melos in the league, I'd take Bass over Chandler simply because there aren't many centers in this league to worry about defending in the post.

G - Rondo
G - Shumpert
F - Melo
F - Bargnani
C - Tyson

Rondo would be incredible on that Knicks team. Mouthwatering lineup.

Bargnani is such a god-awful worthless player his contributions will immediately cancel out anything Melo or Rondo can pull-off.

Bargnani is the only player in the NBA whose win shares INCREASED when he started missing games due to injury. That says something.

I wonder what he thought the C's were going to accept back in return.

Nothing.

There's nothing realistic on that roster that's worth getting in return for Rondo.

...except [maybe] Carmelo.
I'd rather have Rondo.

Me too -- and I don't even really wanna keep the guy.

Don't agree. I would take a package of Felton and Shumpert for Rondo. I would also do Rondo/Bass for Chandler/Felton/Shumpert.

Rondo is being overvalued here, IMO.  Also, was I the only one impressed with how well Felton and Shumpert played vs us in the playoffs this year?
Rondo may be overvalued, there is absolutely, definitely, positively no way that Felton and Shumpert are anything close to equal value for him.

Well, that's your opinion. My opinion states otherwise. There is nothing there to convince me that Rondo is better than those two players combined.

I think Felton is a decent player and Shumpert is only getting better. Especially when you add in the hypothetical of, what if Rondo is not the same player when he comes back?
Except for 2010-2011, Felton has had a long career of sustained mediocre to average performance. Shumpert, so far, projects to be Courtney Lee.

If your idea for a good return for Rondo is one decent player and one developing role-player, then you clearly don't understand the value of players in the NBA. For crying out loud, Eric Bledsoe fetched a better package than Felton + Shumpert.
