@KevinDing: "Sweet a guy as he is, @MettaWorldPeace will be waived via amnesty by Lakers to save about $30 million, barring some late change."

Understandable move by the Lakers, but Artest is still very productive. Wonder what team comes in and swoops him up.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

they may actually have a decent team. With Kobe out for a good chunk of the year, and no Dwight or Artest, they will be without any of the poor personality/attitude players. I wouldn't be surprised to see Nash and Gasol play well while DiAntoni re-asserts himself in LA.

They were the first team to come to my mind, too. Minnesota as well.

idk, he played very good defense for the Lakers...before Dwight he could be arguably the best defensive player for them...

Plus, Adelman and Artest have a great relationship.

  • You say when......
Oh yes, a MODEL citizen and ambassador for NBA style.....How many players has this hitman to his credit...well, Rondo, Ray A....Hardin from Oklahoma....and the NBA did what to him.....hardly anything.....there are many more he has hit like this...he should be on charges.....a borderline mentality that the NBA sanctioned....

Is Metta World Peace still on the team, though?
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

They're way over the cap and will be still. They're using their mini-mle on Kaman too apparently.

Artest has dropped off a lot. Needs to move to a bench role.

He would fit a title contender that wanted a 15mpg reserve SF.
