Most of those fouls are a combination of him doing his job and him not getting respect from refs, which happens for most non-lottery rookies. Maybe 2 of those fouls are worthy of your contempt. Maybe.
The posturing is unnecessary here. Regardless of how those fouls are earned, the fact that he can't currently stay on the floor for extended minutes is a real issue. Perhaps this is going to get better, but until it does, sweeping it under the rug isn't doing anyone a favor.
Actually I would argue that it is doing people a favor. It's keeping us optimistic about the future. Assuming Sullinger returns from his injury 100% (which he has said many times he will), then we have ourselves a very nice starting PF in this league. The fouls will improve with time, just like his defense did... very rapidly, at that. Being negative is what's not doing anyone any favors (ignore my terrible grammar).
... but back to the comparison with Olynyk. Not that my opinion matters much, but I felt the same way about both picks. On draft night, I was bummed that we didn't take someone else (PJIII, Schroeder, younameit), but they soon started proving me wrong. They both still have a lot of proving to do, though.
