Hmmmm this may mean that DH is off the San Francisco.

Very interesting.

Amnesty Beirdrins + Stretch provision Jefferson + Trade Bogut and Rush for a 2nd round pick to a team that can absorb their deals = Cap space for Howard.

If they get Dwight, it would likely mean that two of my favorite non-celtics players become lakers, Bogut and Harrison Barnes, so I really hope this doesn't happen.

Amnesty Beirdrins

Stretch provision Jefferson

Trade Bogut and Rush for a 2nd round pick to a team that can absorb their deals.

Cap space for Howard.

I think they used their amnesty clause already. Charlie Bell.

Edit: Yeah, here it is

Trade Bogut and Rush for a 2nd round pick to a team that can absorb their deals.

Cap space for Howard.

I'm pretty sure they used their amnesty already.

Terrible move. Thanks for thhe link.

Golden state wot be able to get it done. They're trying to avoid a sig and trade because of what the Lakers are asking for, butthey might have to give up more to rid their dead weight contracts

So the Warriors would be:

G - S.Curry,
G - K.Thompson/H.Barnes
F - B.Rush
F - D.Lee, Dray Green
C - D.Howard, F.Ezeli

I kinda feel sorry for David Lee. I think Dwight's presence in the paint will make space and opportunities difficult for him to come by. A lot like they did with Pau Gasol. I think his impact will drop off.

The S.Curry + Klay or H.Barnes + Dwight trio is pretty nasty though. Surround them with some strong role players and that could trio could be a title contender. Maybe trade off David Lee to find a few of those pieces.

And the Lakers would be:

G   - S.Nash
G/F - K.Thompson or H.Barnes
G/F - K.Bryant, R.Artest
F/C - P.Gasol, J.Hill
C   - A.Bogut, (P.Gasol)

Bogut has a passable but unexceptional high post game. Not sure how well he'll facilitate Pau Gasol's low post game. He, Bogut, has the the high post passing ability but not the jump shot. Very good for aggressive cutters (which LA don't have) but maybe not so good for a second low post threat.

A shooter like Klay Thompson could really open up the floor for LA.

Nash's contributions will be minimized again next season because LA will need to play through the post with Bogut + Pau and Kobe will also demand his touches. Not expecting much impact from him. Need a strong backup behind Nash too. Maybe even a starter and move Nash into a bench role. Actually, that would probably be better for LA. Move Nash to a bench role.

Celtics should target Bogut, and move Humphries/Wallace to another team with a pick or something.

Nah, I like Bogut a lot, but he's too old and injury prone for our team.

He's 28, not that old. Plus he's an expiring. He's got more trade value than Humphries though I'd say, or if you can rid yourself of Wallace's contract, it might be worth it.

Injuries a big concern though. But I don't know the state of his current health.
