disagree entirely. I'm 42. we had to get something for them. Better than letting them walk. this young coach is maybe what we need. we have nothing to lose either way. high reward low risk. he just might work out.

If anything, it seems to me to be the opposite, at least as far as the trade.  Younger fans don't really know the C's without Pierce and on average seem more sentimental about letting him go.

I both like and hate the trade.   Hated seeing them not retire in Green but also was afraid of getting old and the window being closed so in ways I liked it.   I am over 30, over 40, too.
