The Knicks would send Marcus Camby, Steve Novak, a first round pick and a second round pick to the Raptors.

The Raptors have attempted to trade Bargnani for several months and several other teams have expressed interest recently.

A handshake deal between the Raptors and Knicks could come shortly.

Bargnani is owed $22.5 million over the next two seasons.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Feel like the Raps could get a better return (even slightly) but he might make NYK worse overall so go for it lol
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I have no idea what the hell they're doing up in Toronto, but this would be a solid trade for the Knicks.

bargnani - chandler front court

I actually like the potential of a Chandler/Bargnani/Melo frontcourt.

Doesn't make sense.

The Knicks were most dangerous with Melo playing at the 4.  I guess Bargs can theoretically be more useful than Copeland and Novak . . . .

Ujiri is living up to his Exec of the year title if he can get a 1st for Bargnani. I think this is a terrible trade for the Knicks... I like it  ;D

It doesn't seem like that trade would work salary-wise.  Anyone else get that vibe?

Exactly. The Raps have wanted shot of Bargnani for a while now - weren't there rumours that they might resort to amnestying him? He can't defend or rebound a lick and has had two recent injuries to his shooting elbow. The Raps have been desperate to dump his contract on someone else, shouldn't they be the ones sweetening the pot for New York?

That surely means the end of Amare Stoudemire in New York.

New York is just the kind of low pressure environment that Bargnani needs to get his career back on track ...

Missed the first round pick. Makes a lot more sense for Toronto now.

Also, people are underestimating Bargnani. Yes, the Raptors are desperate to get rid of him, but that's because Bargnani doesn't fit into their offense. Plenty of other teams would love to have him. As long as Bargnani doesn't have to be the primary offensive option, he could be a dangerous addition. There's absolutely no way there isn't a market for a legitimate 7-footer who is a threat from the perimeter.
