I completely agree with Nick's point, re. Rondo/Bargnani. For their careers Bargnani averages 4.8 boards, and RR 4.5 (though Rondo beats him on offensive boards, 1.1 - 0.9).
With the argument over minutes played, looking at the per 36 numbers Bargnani averages 5.7 to Rondo's 5.0 - though again Rondo beats him by 0.2 on the offensive glass.
When it comes to rebound rate for their careers Bargnani scores 9.4% and Rondo 8.3%.
So 7ft Bargnani is a
marginally better rebounder than 6"1 Rajon Rondo. You'd hope any 7 footer would be better than that.
