Rondo for Thompson, Hayes, and an unprotected 1st

Lee + filler for S+T Tyreke

This. While we're at it, we might as well trade back Jeff Green for Kendrick Perkins and give all our first rounders for Michael Beasley.

I wonder if we sent them Gerald Wallace for Reke how many first would we have to include to get them to take crash's salary?

Shooting percentage on jump shots in 2012-2013:
Tyreke Evans 31.3% in 361 attempts
Avery Bradley 36.1% in 355 attempts

Evans had a better 3p% (33.8% vs 31.7%), but shot way above his career average, which was 25.5% before last season.  I'd feel pretty confident about predicting Bradley will be the better perimeter shooter next season.

That's what it takes to tank, dude.

That unprotected 1st is pretty much guaranteed to be a lottery pick.

hmmm wonder if it would make sense to trade Green , now that we have Wallace .

I wouldn't do it though , I think Green is a much better shooter than Evans , while being able to attack the rim just as effectively .

Despite recent performance being disappointing, I'm guessing Tyreke will be able to get a salary closer to Rondo's than Lee's.  Whether we'd want to pay that would be a different question.

For what it's worth, I see Reke and Bradley as a pretty good fit.  Bradley defends the other team's PG but plays the 2 on offense.  Evans handles the ball and guards 2s.  I believe one or both of them will develop an adequate jumpshot to make the spacing work.

We will probably have a $7.5 MM trade exception from the Pierce/KG deal. So if we choose we could probably sign him to a contract around $8 MM a year. The problem with that is we would be heading back into luxury tax territory for a team that isn't that great.

If Danny views Tyreke Evans as a player that is under valued at $8 MM then maybe he goes into the luxury tax for half the season in order to sell Reke off after he plays well for us.

So as we stand now we have in the back court:

PGs

Rondo

SGs

Bradley
Lee
Bogans
Crawford
Brooks

The Kings have in their back court

PGs

Freddette
Thomas
Evans
Douglas

SGs

Thornton
McLemore
McCallum

If Danny is doing a sign and trade for Evans, I am not sure Sactown would want any more guards going back their way and it makes no sense to S&T Evans without dumping some of the SGs we have on Sacramento.

Not sure how this would go in that case.

I'd love me some Evans.
I've always liked him a lot too.

I also think that Danny will probably part with Rondo this year, and the Kings seem like a likely destination for him.  Kings have new ownership and management, and I'm sure they'd like to get out of the basement they've been dwelling in for a decade.  Getting an established guy like Rondo might be the kind of big splash that they'd be willing to make.  Wonder what other goodies we could extract from them besides Tyreke.  I'd think maybe another first coming our way.

This is interesting.

Can't see why you'd want Bradley and Evans or Bradley and Rondo for that matter (unless one of them learns to shoot more consistently. This is also where the Olynyk pick starts to make sense. If you are building around Bradley or Bradley and Rondo you need a big who can open up the floor and hit from 3.

Would not be surprised to see Olynyk starting from day one with Sully, Humphries, Bass and/or Wallace (paired with Green @ SF).

Brooks can play SF. Wallace PF. Bogans looks like a nice trade chip at the deadline or next year if he is fully Non-guaranteed after this year, but that doesn't mean he has to play. If we land Evans it's hard for me to see rondo staying bc I don't see the fit.

Trading rondo could mean packaging the likes of Courtney lee and Gerald Wallace with him.
