  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Normally I would love a guy like Shabazz - someone who falls because he underperformed in college, but dominated in high school.

He's an exception to me, though. He doesn't have that "team-first" mentality. For all the talent he has, he could easily become a bust, even hurting our team chemistry in the process.

I have 2 things - 1. He averaged less than 1 assist per game. That's just pitiful. 2. this video:

I don't like it when someone needs an assistant coach to tell him to enjoy his teammate's game winning buzzer beater. That should never, ever happen to a serious competitor.

I can deal with off-court issues and injury issues, but if you're upset that you didn't take the final shot even though you won, I'm going to question your mentality. This is childish, imo. Given this is only one small clip of Shabazz, it's still enough to make me, personally, think twice about wanting him.

There's a lot about Schroeder that reminds me of Rondo.. The way he moves on the court, most notably. I've heard he also has some character issues, though. Also not much of a shooter, maybe as good as, of slightly better than RR is currently.

Shabazz, I don't know. I keep trying to convince myself I wouldn't be smiling on the inside if we picked him, though. I however don't think DA will pick him if he's available at all.

That said, having a real backup PG would be nice for once. Take Schroeder.

Which has nothing to do with the country in which you reside.

Of course not. That would be silly.

Schroeder's draft stock definitely skyrocketed after the Hoops Summit, though.

I'd imagine a Rondo - Shabazz would be a nightmare. Rondo hates it when guys can't finish his passes. Shabazz hates it when he's not being passed to. Those guys would be pouting most of the time they're on the court together o_O

There are some players I wouldn't take for free on a rebuilding team, and Beasley is one of them. Too much could go wrong.

1-5 years ago, I would have been ecstatic to acquire him, though.

Also, isn't Shabazz actually thirty five?

At any rate, they'll probably both be gone before pick 16 anyway.

NBAdraft.net has him at 19 and DraftExpress has him at 18

we are in the radar for shabazz, and we need to draft him. he's the 2nd coming of paul pierce

shabazz = selfish primadonna headcase

schroeder = athletic, skilled, pg playing in a pro league already

If given the choice between the two, I take Schroeder hands down.
