Shabazz is the most overrated player in this draft.

By far.

Pass.

When Alex Len was beating the crud out of Noel ans Stein at the same time he looked pretty all starish to me
You mean their first  college games ever. Massive knock on Len is he produced against Noel and Zeller but was mediocre pretty much the rest of the time. Why didn't he dominate non-name players? Good question to ask.

He was playing hurt. Had a stress fracture in his ankle, or so he said in the NBA Job INterview video.

Guess that hindered him a bit.

Shabazz is the best player in this draft, and I pray that Danny takes him if he slips to us at 16.  This kid can score in a myriad of ways and I believe he can improve the other parts of his game with the right coaching.  If Danny can find another way to get a mid-first round pick, then taking both Shabazz and Schroeder would go a long way in rebuilding this team, imho.

Say what you want about Noel coming off the injury, but everyone said Davis wouldn't amount to anything until he completely dominated on the defensive end.
Who said Davis wouldn't amount to anything?  I never heard that.  I only heard people saying positives like that he was a potential franchise cornerstone.

I don't see any superstars at all. Not even an All Star.
That would be a first ever.  Even some of the most horrendous drafts of all time have produced at least 3 all-star appearances.  Players with underwhelming careers like Michael Redd, Caron Butler, and even Jamal Magloire have been all-stars.

You don't think McLemore could have a Michael Redd or Jason Richardson like career?

I agree shabazz has the best tools in the draft and he is very athletic.

If Shabazz is all that an then some then there is no way he will be there at 16. All the scouts have had the chance to poke and pod Shabazz. My take is if he is there at 16 then he surely has bust written all over him. His So-So year in college added together with his combine numbers don't show anything special.

I think Ben McLemore has the best potential of all the picks to be an All-Star.

What about Rondo? Bradley? Or Sullinger who no one thought he'd amount anything due to his back? If his back is completely healed or at least recovered enough for a healthy full season. Then I guess a lot of NBA scouts aren't on the par as Danny.

Unfortunately, Danny hasn't worked out Shabazz, and I haven't heard too many good things. I'm hoping Danny can pull off a trade to grab Shabazz. A player with his scoring mentality is hard to find nowadays...

Noel is one of the most overrated players in this draft. His offense is way too fundamentally flawed at this point to expect any sort of reasonable growth. His defense is praised as "NBA-ready", but that's only rim protection and help D. When it comes to individual man-on-man, his skinny frame is going to get eaten alive in the NBA. The dude's ceiling is essentially Ben Wallace. That is no where near a #1 overall pick in my opinion.

As for Shabazz, I actually watched every game of his in Westwood this year. I know Howland's system always depresses the stock of his talents (Westbrook, Love, etc), but Shabazz truly looked like an awful player. First of all, he truly is one-dimensional. Considering his sheer athleticism, it's worrying how poorly he took advantage of it. His defense is underwhelming, he can't get steals/blocks, he doesn't pass, and although his rebounding is underrated, that's basically it. As far as his "strength" in scoring, his offensive repertoire really did not blow me away at all. And for all of the talk about him having a "killer instinct", it was often Jordan Adams and not Shabazz Muhammad pulling out the big plays.

When I see Noel, I see a young Kenyon Martin.  I would also be afriad of his injury history and the fact that he weighs just over 200 lbs.

Simply not a good year to have the #1 pick.
