I don't understand why you'd give up two 2nd round picks next year to move up for someone who would likely still be there at #16.  Any ideas?

Question: Is the site working very slow for anyone else?
Yip. Forum software is misbehaving again.

Already sent a note to SB Nation's support staff.

Hopefully, they're onto it by now.

We gave up assets to move up 3 spots in a ****ty draft and take a guy that easily is still there at 16.

Wow Ainge, you are really doing your best to get the entire fanbase to turn on you.

Even your avid fans like me.

Watch and see.  There's more here than meets the eye.

So, lurker for a while here but felt the need to chime in. Why did Ainge trade up for him? Was he truly afraid someone would take him? I didnt see anyone before them needing a 7 fter. Trading away 2 2014 picks was a bad idea, especially when that draft looks so enticing.

I am starting to question his decisions as of right now. Please have something else for us today Ainge. :-\

Personally, I don't get this. Anyone here that does?

Elementary my dear Watson, elementary.

Rondo is one last names you have heard in trade rumors.

Olynyk spreads the floor well with his shot, which KG won't be around to do anymore. He also runs the floor really well. Oh yea, and he's 7 ft. Great pick imo.

I am assuming by not drafting Schroeder or another PG they will not attempt to trade him (unless he wants to be traded as rumors have suggest) because they believe he is the face of the franchise assuming this trade with the Nets occurs.

Dennis who?

In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

just a thought here ...

Supposedly the Cavs had given us a deadline to accept Pierce for two 2nd rounders trade.  The idea was that we had until the 13th pick to make the deal or they were going to trade for Dallas' pick.

Well didn't we just jack that up by swapping picks with Dallas?  Maybe we did it to convince the Cavs to give up more... like this 19th pick.

I don't like the pick.

Olynyk - Canadian Nenad Kristic
Schrouder - German Rondo

I'd rather have German Rondo

The Cavs have long been rumored to covet Karasev and looking for a way to move up to make sure they got him, so probably not.
