Yup. Cousins and Evans. I'll take back Salmans to make it work.

Rondo, the #16, Fab Melo  for Turkaglu's expiring and the #2 ... if Nerlens is available.

Wonder if Orlando would bite.

Orlando would take it in a heart beat.  They are looking for a PG.  We'd have to get at least 2 more assets out of the deal along with the # 2 pick and keep #16.
I don't see that happening.  Rondo's a flawed Top 10 PG coming off ACL surgery with severe attitude problems.  Even his own coach and teammates are trying to get out of Boston just to get away from him.

I think most teams would rather have Noel recovering from ACL surgery on his rookie deal than Rondo recovering from ACL surgery making 12 mil a year.  You build around bigs in this league... not 29 year old fringe allstar pointguards.

I pretty doubtful Orlando does a Rondo for #2 swap also.

Unsure whether they would view Rondo as the type of player you can build around + with Orlando just beginning a multi-year rebuilding process, does an established guy like Rondo even make sense for them? At his age? With his injury? Why, so they can win 30-35 games instead of 20?

Looks like the wrong move at the wrong time for Orlando.

Regarding Orlando, Who is right. Talent wise it may be a fair trade but really bad timing. Even with the addition of Rondo, Orlando is still a long ways from being competetive.

Regarding Sacremento, why in the world would they trade both Evans and Cousins for Rondo? So Rajon can pass the ball to...Marcus Thornton? Makes no sense for them and they would have zero interest in Rondo for similiar reason as Orlando.

Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Just read through this thread. If I am moving Rondo, it is for a big, since Bigs are always harder to get than smalls. I would not trade him for another point guard. I also would consider trading him for a high draft pick so that we could free up some cap space, but with him just returning from an acl injury I don't see someone giving up that for him.

Someone earlier mentioned Vasquez. People complain about Rondo dribbling the ball into the ground, Vasquez is like a less good version of Rondo in that respect. I still hate him from his Maryland days.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

fans with enough basketball IQ to appreciate his value.  Same guys who want to do thought Telfair was better.

Get off your high horse. Rondo is not untouchable.

That's somewhat of a rude way to point it out.

However I agree, I have very serious worries of Rondo that cause me every year to wonder what we could aqcuire.

Another option nobody has brought up...Rajon Rondo for Greg Monroe/Rodney Stuckey

I always get a chuckle about the posters here who are dying to load up with players from a 24 win team.

...wait, that's your line, isn't it?

A bag of crisps.

So all you biased Rondo-detractors without a clue could just give us a break.

I am sorry if my response was offensive, but if someone questions my intelligence (basketball or other), I might fall down to their level.

Anyway, I feel that if we can flip a PG to a legit big, I would do it in a second.

Anyone who thinks we can get even Cousins alone for Rondo is delusional. I doubt we could even get Evans alone for Rondo. How people believe we can get both, especially now that Rondo is recovering from a torn ACL, is beyond me.

It's true that Rondo's not untouchable. It's also true that if you can't get  someone who's very likely to play as well as Rondo did in last year's playoffs he's probably on the right horse.

lol @ anyone saying DMC, Evans or any picks in this year's draft. You must love living in the basement. Kings fans actively want to get rid of DMC and Evans. Some folks knowledge of basketball is suspect.
