Is this serious???
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-clippers-coach-20130622,0,5376195.story

At this stage everything and anything is serious....

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA1h
Rivers informed the Clippers on Friday afternoon that he no longer had interest in L.A.'s job, sources tell Y! It's Celtics or TV now.

I give up guessing on this one anymore. I will just wait and see what happens.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Its pretty much the Clippers wanting to wait wait and wait to see if well give for a 2nd when they're the ones that are going to have to if they want anything done.

As long as both of you are fine with Rondo F-bombing you on a regular basis, you're on your way lol

Doc may be thinking that it might be too hard to get stuff done working for Donald Sterling.

Or maybe not..

What do you think is the worst thing Chris Paul ever said to a coach? Do you think it's all "yes sir" and "no sir" and "how high did you want me to jump?"?

Or is that what the coaches say to CP, in the hopes he won't tell the GM he wants the coach fired?

Wait, so the claim is the story was leaked as a ploy to get the Clips to change their offer? Because they're going to act based on a tweet or an article on the web instead of what they hear directly from Doc? Too funny.

I agree.  I just said the same thing in another tread.  Careful what you wish for Doc.  Rondo may be surly but I have never heard he is pushing to get coaches fired.

This is irrelevant.  Didn't you learn in kindergarden that 2 wrongs don't make a right?  I doubt Tony Parker would get away with F-bombing Popovich.  I doubt that Magic Johnson ever F-Bombed Riley.

There is a way to handle these things and F-bombing the coach is not the way to handle it.  Saying Chris Paul might have done the same thing does not in anyway let Rondo off the hook if this is true.

If you have a problem with your coach, and yes, this is going to happen, you have to deal with it like an adult or professional.  That is part of the job of being an NBA player.  Otherwise, you are a problem.  Teams don't want problems in their locker rooms.

Woj is on WEEI and said Doc is scared of the Clippers at this point.

Chris Paul's people want Doc he said they're unhappy with it falling through. He said the Clippers are trying to show they have interest to Cp3 but really don't want to do it for a first...and are walking a fine line here.

I thought Stern was very clear that you cannot trade for a coach. I know in other leagues teams can be compensated for letting contracted coaches out of their deals to move to another team, but it is not allowed in the NBA....or so Stern said.

This is definitely the stupidest story in my memory of Celtics basketball. Danny wanted to avoid another Big 3 debacle (keeping them too long past their prime), but he has created a whole, new (possibly worse) debacle with this Clippers' deal.
