Let's say it all breaks down. Does KG after agreeing to be traded to LA, re evaluates things and is willing to go to another team? That would likely bring us a much higher return.
Who is going to give us a higher return for Garnett?

Without looking at who we could get, I'd say contenders who think they're close might, such as the Bulls, the Knicks, even the Nuggets or the like. Maybe even the Thunder.
none of those teams want KG. theres a reason only the clips are talking.

Probably because KG has a no-trade clause and turned down the Clips deal, and is looking at it now because of the Doc angle. I'm sure all of those teams would love to have KG, they'd be stupid not to.

Boozer and the Bobcats pick would be a strong offer if Chicago were willing to do so. I'd say the likelihood is pretty slim though. That Bobcats pick is pretty valuable.

I can't see much else Chicago can offer. Taj Gibson maybe. Gibson and a first for Garnett.

It's funny, they walk they're a 2nd round or WCF exit. Take this deal they're West favorites. And they won't do it because they won't take Lee's or Terry's contract?

A true joke of a management. Shows why the Clips have only had like 4 seasons above .500

How's that crap sandwich tasting there, Danny?

I hope you get your sorry butt fired, if you take this deal.

Seriously, if things fall apart and C's fans are going to be bitter over this and not still root for the guys, I'm appalled.

...
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Long couple days for everyone, we could all stand to cut each other some slack with emotions so high.  And I think those two posts are more consistent than they look at first glance.

The whole "interview a different coach" thing is pretty clearly feeding the media to put pressure on.  It's not like those other coaches will be thrilled to get used as a cat's paw to try and get Doc there, either.  Or to take on the Clips roster with CP up in the air and no clear roster improvement.

Time for Danny to pull out the "we're trading Pierce to Dallas so they can clear cap space for CP3 and Dwight Howard" card.

Well, you´re right.
Let´s hope people are willing to cut Danny the same slack when he has to make the hard decisions.

If you are CP3 ,would you rather play in Dallas, a state with no income tax , and an owner who has proven he will spend to win championships

Or

A racist, cheap skate ,scum bag who won't even take on the salary of Lee or Terry for a chance to become a contender ?

Would DAL have the cap space after cutting Pierce?

If so, this is EXACTLY what I'd do. I'd give them one chance before I actually took action and did it.

aaaaaaaarrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhh

cant take any more of this. If I were Danny f@%k them. Its not as if its the end of the world if this deal doesnt pan out.

Let them run it one more year. 2014 we will have a boatload of cap space.

Wouldnt it be ironic if we land Blake by then
