Doc told the Clippers to not include Eric Bledsoe in any trade deals with the Celtics because he wants to coach him in LA.
I've seen a couple posters say this - where is this coming from? It would be very bad form if true, but that's a pretty massive if. What are the sources here?
It pushes the anti Doc agenda so who cares about sources!!!
this!!!! tp!!!
Firstly tyrone biggums and Celticsconcourse read my actual post before jumping down my throat. I said I don't know if it is true, but that its been reported, so I'm not claiming it to be absolute fact. I didn't dig out the actual Woj quote (I should have and was lazy), but someone else did so feel free to check it out.
And before you blast "sources" Woj is pretty [dang]ed reliable in terms of NBA breaking news.
On top of that I'm a big Doc fan and supporter and I said I agree with the OP about not overreacting on Doc, BUT
IF that is true, and I put a lot of stock in Woj (and again not enough to say that it was absolute fact, I said it might not be true, because even the best are wrong sometimes) THEN I would be upset with him because he is negatively impacting the C's leverage.
Again upset, not irate, not furious, upset. I'm not pushing any ANTI-DOC AGENDA, just commenting on reports.
Even if it is true I can totally understand why he would want to keep the Clips strong since their window with KG and PP would be small, but at the same time I would hope that Doc as a show of good faith to the C's who have been good to him would want the deal to work out for our rebuilding efforts as well.
A better topic for this forum would be STOP OVERREACTING PERIOD. Both sides right now on this board are just yelling at each other and not adding anything. There are plenty of people right now sitting back and not saying anything because they don't want to get involved in any of the pointless arguments going around based purely on conjecture.
If people want to comment on some of the actual reports out there, thats fine. Some might argue even that is too soon because no one knows who is right and wrong until the teams actually put stuff out there.
But calling out people who are actually just trying to analyze the reports from sources is a waste of your time.
