Why are people enamored with Jordan so much?
Because he scores when he gets the ball (whether that's because he only dunks or teams sag off of him, it doesn't matter), and because he's good at swatting the ball and gives us the rebounding big we've desperately needed for years.
He averaged fewer rebounds per game than KG last year, both in the regular season and playoffs. Now, KG did play more minutes (about 5 more during regular season), but it's not like there's some other rebounding demon on the Clippers that's snagging boards away from Jordan.
He also shoots 39% from the line. And he shoots 64% on way fewer shot attempts than KG. He's very limited offensively.
He blocked 1.4 shots a game in the regular season, and 1.7 in the playoffs. Just because he swats the ball into the stands (which is a stupid basketball play, BTW) and gets on SC doesn't mean he's a good defender.
