CLippers are trying to throw together a team of Chris Paul, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Dwight Howard and Doc Rivers as a coach.

That will be depressing to see.  Too bad we can't trade for Cp3 and Dwight.

How would you react if that Clippers team won a title?

Doc is a front running coach. I'm sure VDN could "coach" that group to a finals appearance

I present the 2011-2012 NBA playoffs, against Memphis, when VDN forgot to sub Chris Paul back into the game as the team was steadily losing their league.

Hate on Doc all you want, but he's a clear cut above VDN.

where have you been? the Celtics team ALWAYS loses leads and Doc makes very questionable decisions. Always.

Sure Doc is a cut above, but my point is that a team of CP3, Blake, D Howard and KG would probably win a title, on paper, all day, regardless of the coach. I could dangit coach that team to the finals. You kiddin me?

Good news, I suppose.

If this falls through I see the Celtics giving the Clips the proverbial middle finger and trade Pierce to Houston for Lin and Asik (and change) so Houston can buyout Pierce and have the money to bring in both CP3 and D12 to play with Harden.
That would be pretty sweet revenge.  If this does fall through, which I think is probable, then I hope Ainge does do that or something comparable, and I'd hope it then craters the Clippers for blowing it.
If that deal is on the table, Danny should tell the Clippers he's going to take it... Give them a day to sweat, and sweeten their offer, and if they don't pull the trigger.

Asik and Lin, with KG and Doc still here. I like that. Still would need a shooter and a backup 3, but this would cover two holes: center and back up pg with young players going forward.

Danny must have another move up his sleeve. If he is keen on getting Bledsoe. There isn't a good way for this to work with

Rondo/Bledose/AB

Minutes would be tough to distribute. I'd hope we turn around and trade Bledsoe to say the Magic for future picks or the number 2 pick this draft.

you realize avery bradley is our starting shooting guard right? how can people be a celtics fan and not know the obvious. bledsoe would be the primary backup to rondo and would make it super smooth to fill in the gap for rondo while we wait for him to recover. bledsoe is very important to have...

you obviously havent seen avery handle the ball if you think he's a point.

Yup, unless we keep Bledsoe and trade AB or Rondo?

why would we trade our starting all-star point guard and starting all-defensive shooting guard?

Dude don't question me as a fan first of all. Second of course i know that AB is our starting SG, but that gives us a very small rotation in our 1's and 2's. That is all i am saying. I would like to flip either Bledsoe OR AB for something else. And third no i know he is not a PG but he is trapped in a PG's body. Thank you

The clippers are trying to trade Bledsoe and Griffin for Dwight Howard...

the plan is to have Chris Paul, Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard with Doc Rivers as coach.   The reason they are refusing to include Bledsoe is because they need him for the Dwight trade.

Yeah but apparently the Lakers are having none of that. They don't want to send Dwight to LAC only for them to go on to win a championship. I think we need to hold out for the Clippers to start getting worried about resigning CP3.

If they can't get Dwight they'll be more willing to deal Bledsoe.

Would the Lakers rather see Dwight bail on them and leave them with nothing... or get back Blake Griffin and Eric Bledsoe.  Methinks they'd rather get back Blake and Bledsoe.
