I would love to see Larry back on the sidelines, I'm just a bit uneasy about why he really left coaching nafter only three years.
He did a great job when he coached, and could have easily continued on, but there was something unspoken about why he left, and I get the feeling that he just didn't like it that much.
Maybe being associated with his second home would bring extra incentive and joy to the job, (make the difference), but I dunno ... he has such a brilliant basketball mind and no-bull approach that I love.
But as I said, seeing him on the sidelines for Boston again ... wow, dream-come-true.
Wouldn't mind Jackson, either, he's got everything that makes for great coaching in huge amounts, plus the "it" factor for intangibles ... he'd be huge money, though, and I'm not sure we've got the star power he'd want to take a chance on, (tho I think he'd enjoy molding Rondo).
Don't care for Hollins, personally ... a bit surprised at all the votes in his direction. Brian Shaw has a great b-ball IQ as well, but he's a bit of an unproven at the head position for an extended rebuilding bid ... I'd be reluctant there.
I'd be happy with Karl or Sloan as well.
