Which Van Gundy do you mean?

I think you mean Jeff, but I think that Stan would be a good coach for a rebuilding team.

Stan

I'm certain to be in the minority.....

but I believe in coaches ,  and I think having a good one is absolutely important , no matter what phase of construction the team is in.

the Coach is the teams foundation , that what's hurt about Doc leaving ,  he was starting point for the club to work from.

I think having a winning coach I place sets the std by which players will want to play and work for a particular team.

Getting a cheap tanking coach, might save money , but it sends the wrong message to the team and draftees and FA alike.

don't be cheap skates and stick the celtics with a bad coach

Can't be worse than Vinny. But then again... I wouldn't like VDN too much either.

If our coaching decision rests on VDN vs Skiles, I honestly think we're better off having Antoine Walker as our coach.

Congratulations to Shaw. I didn't want him in Boston due to his triangle offense, but it's nice to see him finally employed as a head coach after what seemed like an eternity of interviews.

Now for the C's to make their play. Let's go Ainge, go get Lionel Hollins!

I'd like Hollins as well at this point. Not sure what type of payment he'd be looking for however and what it's worth on a rebuilding team. He's a good hire for a retooling (which I hope were doing) not a tanking

Hollins was there with the Grizz when they were rebuilding wasn't he?
