KG and Rondo don't know the guy anymore. Chemistry wise, that would be the worse choice to do.
Not to mention, since his ankle bothered him, he became an average 3 ball shooter. Lee was shooting better than him. So it doesn't make sense at all to take him back.
Emotion wise, again hate the guy, the ultimate traitor!

But filling the press's ears with bitter complaints about Rondo and Doc and Bradley and his role was more than enough for me.  Add in that what defense he had and opted to play for a few years is gone, his offensive role and capabilities are limited, though sometimes still elite in his sweet spot, and I don't want any part of him--on a contending team, let alone a rebuilding one.
Good point, clover.  As good of an example as he was on work ethic and staying prepared, he seems to have been bad in the "no 'I' in team" end of things.  I loved Ray as a player and role model and wish he had kept his mouth shut so I could have continued my admiration of his character even after he left.

I would honestly take JO back  for the minimum than see Judas in Celtic uniform again..so NO WAY.

But the funny thing is...if he just went to any other team other than the cHeat..i don't  think there wouldn't be as much hatred around.

I have enjoyed reading everyone's reasoning on this thread.  To go with both of your points though, I can't understand for the life of me how he could think that moving to the heat wasn't a big enough deal for his ex-teammates to want to have nothing to do with him.  I know all of them don't feel that way (at least publicly), including Doc.  But wow...... Allen claimed that he, KG and Pierce would have an everlasting bond and that he could still see himself talking on the phone and reliving their past glory years down the road.  That is definitely an "I" way of thinking. He seems a lot more selfish than I thought he was.  I'm sure he's a good guy, but I would like to see him and the heat fall short in Game 7 and give him a reminder that the grass isn't always greener.

Actually, if he continues on his current slump (while losing playing time) and Lebron carries the heat to a title without his help, I wonder how he would feel about that?

For the record, I wouldn't want him back either.

We all think we know more than we really do....

Terrible 3-pointer shooter, terrible free-throw shooter...

Also a traitor in black/white/red uniform. Just another washed up.

Nah, next guest please!
