With cavs surely taking Noel, any think they could part with Andy V?

Any young, but more proven players that Cleveland could trade this pick for?  Players that teams might be OK going another direction without?  Lamarcus aldridge?  Kevin Love?  Demarcus Cousins?  Al Horford if hawks lose smith and can't land dwight or cp3?

If Cavs pick up Noel I expect my man Krook to come from where ever he's hiding with multiple trade scenarios for tha C's to get his boy Varejao.

This is looking like a set-up for tha NBA's golden child to return to Cleveland tho.

Was Cleveland the team that was rumoured to be making a run at Aldridge late in the season? If I am remembering that right, I expect they make another run at Aldridge but for Portland to turn them down again.

I don't think Minnesota or Atlanta are ready to part ways with K-Love or A-Horford.

DeMarcus Cousins would be a very good target for Cleveland. They seem to value character very highly since the LeBron debacle. I wonder if that would work against Cousins. Make them more likely to keep Noel over Cousins.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
yet another year of the draft lottery screwing the worst team. whether its fixed or not, its just bad for the league. granted, its less of a big deal when there aren't as many game changers at the top of the draft, but what we have now is a joke. either they need to scrap it entirely, or make the odds a lot better for the worst teams. fact is, most of the time, the team with the worst record is legitimately horrible and should get the top pick.

What? Are you talking about the Bobcats? They moved down 1 slot from their projected pick. So did the Magic. They aren't screwed just because they don't have the 1st pick.

I don't see any team getting screwed - I see teams not getting lucky, but that's about it. The one thing you should do if you're in the lottery is to expect the worst.

Giving better odds for the worst teams increases the incentive for teams to tank.

Just eliminate the draft altogether.

if you are terrible, losing games is not necessarily tanking. there's no real way to regulate this, so i'd opt to go the route every other major american sport does and give the worst team the highest pick. tanking is always possible.
