If he is available. He won't be. He will probably be the first point guard picked, maybe 2nd after Burke. He won't last past top 10.
Source?
Every mock I've seen has Burke, McCollum and Carter-Williams going before him.
What do you mean source? Like a fortune teller?
This is the time of the point guard. After Rose, Wall, Kyrie, Lillard do you think the youngest and quickest point guard with a 6'7 wingspan who has had tremendous success on both sides of the floor at a legit professional league won't be gobbled up?
By "source" I mean "information, yours or someone else's, telling us something about the opinions of GMs who will be in the 2013 NBA draft."
Just to be clear, you're not saying you think Schroeder will be better than those other guys (which is about your own evaluation of talent). You're saying he will be drafted earlier, which is about how GMs making the decisions evaluate his talent.
Who told you that these GMs feel this way? If the answer is "no one," you're the one claiming psychic powers.
Jonathan Givony at DraftExpress spends nearly all his time evaluating players, talking to other people who do the same thing and talking to people who are involved in the actual draft. Chad Ford at ESPN can claim both expertise and access to NBA sources. These guys make their livings getting information from people who have expertise and the decision-makers themselves - scouts and GMs - about how players are evaluated by the market right now.
You're saying that you know something they don't - that every GM picking in the top 10 values Schroeder higher than they value McCollum and Carter-Williams, and that many teams value him as the #1 point guard over Burke.
This is a serious deviation from what credible "insiders" are saying. I'm just asking you to back up your claim with some information.
