whatever gets doc outta town
Since Doc negativity often doesn't get reponded to, I'll just say I disagree. Despite some flaws, I think Doc is a very good coach to have on a this team. He is a positive variable when it comes to deciding where to play. When competing for FAs with cities in nicer climates, we need a guy who guys want to play for.
sorry that craps not working anymore. Id rather have a young player then some guy on his way outta the league trying to hold onto the glory days and not willing to move aside for developing younger players.
This attitude is just so indicative of today's society.
If you are a young guy and want the old guy's job, you know what you do, you beat him out for the job. You work your tail off and impress the decision maker in the company to the point where that person decides you are better than the person currently employed in the position you want and gives you the job.
I want to see the best players on the court trying to win basketball games. I want a coach that is coaching a winning philosophy and running his team the right way, by making people earn what they want, and doing so because it is in the best interest of making the team better.
That is Doc.
Personally, I want to see the guy that can give me 35 MPG in the playoffs and average 13 PPG, 14 RPG and play exceptional team defense not the guy who has been recently playing in China because he isn't good enough to average more than 3 points and 3 rebounds per game in his 7 year career. If the first guy happens to be old and the other guy young, so be it. I just want the best players playing.
