I was just listening to dennis and callahan. They say they have moles that tell them Bradley is getting lots of treatment and is only about 70%

So thats why he has been getting abused by Felton

Does this explain his shooting too?

At some point, you have to look at the guy and almost say his injury prone.   Bad shoulder, lower body injury etc.

What is he?   Greg Oden lite?

Not the greatest of excuses when he's virtually always banged up.....he still needs to play through it and be just as effective or don't play

I don't know what's wrong, but his defense has looked incredibly sub-par.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
This could be a blessing in diguise. He's struggling in multiple facets.

The blessing being that now Terrence Williams has a chance to make an impact with his ball handling and penetration, as well as his defense on fat boy Felton.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Excuses

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

He's done a complete 180. He is insufferable to watch right now. At one point he was my favorite guy to watch and seemed like he had this super high ceiling.

by that logic you might as well call the whole league injury prone,  everyone is injured to some degree at this point, bradley has to learn to adapt to play through it.

Now a day's unless its a tear in the leg somewhere you're playing.

KG is dealing with a smorgasbord of ailments plus Father Time and he's still getting it done...plus around this time no one is playing 100%

Avery is struggling mightily right now, but I'm not ready to write him off just yet.

I'm going to go ahead and predict that he has a good game tonight and starts to break out of his funk.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

He is still a PG sized guy ask to guard SG.  It is possible that he physically cannot stand up to the larger guy physicality.

Or he has bad luck so far.

Maybe, he needs a Jason Kidd sized PG to play with?

Celtics18, TPs to you and the OP.

For being open minded about this. AB has been dumped on on this board for awhile. Personally, I am giving him a pass and the benefit of the doubt here.

If the reports are accurate, and he is only at 70%, that in effect cripples AB's game both offensively and defensively, since he relies so much on energy for his on the ball defense and cutting and getting loose on offense.

He also gets a pass for the way he has played in the past, i.e. with reckless abandon even at the expense of his own body.

Anybody remember the end of last year and last year's playoffs? AB was still running through picks even with one and then both badly injured shoulders.

Maybe he shouldn't be playing, because physically he is hurting, which then hurts the team. But that's on Doc. To imply or directly state that the kid isn't giving his all, which many have done recently, I think is unjustified.

I'd say that a lower body injury could certainly explain his shooting woes.

I know many of us hoped his on-ball defense would be one of the Celtics advantages so it's especially disappointing that Bradley seems to be a persistent source of weakness when he's out on the court.  It seems clear that something isn't quite right with him so if it turned out that he had an undisclosed injury it wouldn't surprise me.  If Bradley is indeed injured and can't turn things around I'd hope Doc might pull the trigger on swapping out his minutes to give Courtney Lee some run.

I mean I wouldn't be surprised, but didn't he just have the stomach flu a minute ago? I think he's not playing well because he has consumption and the clap.

If he's too injured, Doc should play lee.
