This could be a blessing in diguise. He's struggling in multiple facets.

The blessing being that now Terrence Williams has a chance to make an impact with his ball handling and penetration, as well as his defense on fat boy Felton.
I have been surprised he's actually played great defense against Felton and even JR

I think anyone who is as aggressive as he is on defense is injury prone. Guys like Delonte and Gerald Wallace put their body on the line.
I don't think Bradley's style of playing is even remotely similar to that of West or Wallace (which can pretty much be described as "reckless abandon"). Even Rondo takes considerably more beating than Bradley, yet manages to stay (mostly) in one piece.

I agree with the Rondo part on O. The ball is in Rondo's hands, because of his handle, far more than in Bradley's. Rondo does take a pounding when he wants to penetrate.

On defense, I disagree. Rondo, during the regular season, almost never fights through picks. (That's different from playoff Rondo). Because Bradley fearlessly fights through picks is why he hurt both his shoulders, yet he did it all season, until recently.

Everyone is hurt this time of year. No exceptions to the rule.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

The only thing missing from this thread is the allegation that Doc took a crowbar to one of his shins, and I'm sure it's coming. That would complete the circle of alibis.

Maybe, just maybe, Bradley isn't as good as some of you so desperately want him to be. Maybe he's just a defensive specialist who has Peter Principled himself into trouble running this team.

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Honestly, I felt like this is what it had to be. I'm not going to make excuses for his offense, but the defense has seen way too much of a drop. I was thinking it was fatigue at first, but if it were you'd see the great defense in spurts at least. An injury to his hips or legs that would affect his lateral movement is the only thing that makes sense, IMO.
