Is Doc serious with this line-up?
Doesnt matter.  We're outgunned.

Does to me and my feelings about Doc. ;)
I just hope rebuilding starts with genius getting the ax

The Clippers were down exactly 24 with 8:53 to go last year when a timeout was called.

The Celtics are down exactly 24 with 8:52 this year and a timeout has been called.

Do you believe in miracles? Because I sure as heck do.

I just can't believe why Doc has escaped so much criticism.  Dang, the guy is such a brilliant coach because Thibs installed an actual defensive scheme for him and they won a championship with three HOFers still in the tail end of their decline.  They couldn't have done it without him.

This offense was still bad with Rondo out there.  The ball got into the paint a bit more but it was mostly kicked out for jumpers.

It's so frustrating to watch the Celtics run the same four or five sets for the past six seasons.  You look at Miami's offense.  It's night and day between their first year together and where they are now.  The Knicks run a lot isos but they've incorporated more picks to create switches and they have an offensive identity at least.  Popovich overhauled their offensive approach even though their core players didn't change.  The hallmark of the Celtics offense is a guy holding the ball on the wing 25 feet from the basket.  For the cherry on top, that guy usually can't pass to save his life (Bass or Bradley) or aren't very good at it (Green).  Wonderful.

doc escapes criticism becasue the media says how great he is even though he's won because of player effort.  IF PP/KG actually had some rest and doc didnt play them 120 straight minutes, they mita had some effort.  He's screwed this lineup so much that we had no chemistry at all going into the playoffs.  however u slice it, He's a terrible coached and should be fired!

I've enjoyed watching kg and pierce, but the last two seasons have been a complete waste of time.  Next year should be our long-delayed return to complete irrelevance ... Let's try to pick up some young assets and tank for a proper superstar successor to Garnett.
Easy to say in hindsight.  But life don't work that way.  I've enjoyed following this team for as long as its home.  But yeah, the end has come.
Hindsight?  Our Team has been perpetually mediocre since shaq got hurt.  Last year we were almost just as terrible in the regular season.  Thanks to some lucky playoff draws (horfordless hawks and sub .500 Philly) we snuck into the ECF and made Miami sweat it out.  It was entertaining, but we were out of our league... And this year we were exposed even further.  Time has come for a long overdo reset... Could be another decade until we sniff contention again, but at least we are no longer a sitting duck franchise milking the last bit of juice out of once great men.  Tanking for wiggins next year gives us a purpose... And we can move forward with hope for the future... Instead of stalling in year 6 of a 3 year window.
Exactly.  You are using nothing but hindsight to mark your point.  Two years ago we were first in the east for much of the year and a serious title contender.  Last year we were one game from the finals.  This year, we'd be much better if not for two key injuries.

So yeah, while not winning any of these years sucks, we can just look at the final result and determine them waste.  Again, hindsight.  Real life don't work that way.

Knicks are a team full of unlikeable guys.
I really don't like them or their fans. I can't wait till Miami brings them back to earth and shut them up

I just have to laugh because this is hilariously bad.
If this is KG's last game, what a sad way to go out in a blowout and embarrassing loss.

All things considered this was about as well as we could have been expected to perform once Rondo went down.

I hope that KG and Pierce hang it up, but I fear that we'll be back here again next year, possibly in an even more depressing fashion.

Whatever happens I'm gonna miss these guys when they're gone, and I feel lucky to have lived through two great eras of Celtics basketball.
