Is Doc serious with this line-up?
Doesnt matter.  We're outgunned.

Does to me and my feelings about Doc. ;)

Clear the bench, what do we have to lose at this point?

I've enjoyed watching kg and pierce, but the last two seasons have been a complete waste of time.  Next year should be our long-delayed return to complete irrelevance ... Let's try to pick up some young assets and tank for a proper superstar successor to Garnett.
Easy to say in hindsight.  But life don't work that way.  I've enjoyed following this team for as long as its home.  But yeah, the end has come.
Hindsight?  Our Team has been perpetually mediocre since shaq got hurt.  Last year we were almost just as terrible in the regular season.  Thanks to some lucky playoff draws (horfordless hawks and sub .500 Philly) we snuck into the ECF and made Miami sweat it out.  It was entertaining, but we were out of our league... And this year we were exposed even further.  Time has come for a long overdo reset... Could be another decade until we sniff contention again, but at least we are no longer a sitting duck franchise milking the last bit of juice out of once great men.  Tanking for wiggins next year gives us a purpose... And we can move forward with hope for the future... Instead of stalling in year 6 of a 3 year window.

It has been a great run. Any time you win a title, it's a great run, and the best news is we gave up nothing of value to acquire two HOFers.

But it's over. Pierce is cooked. I'd like to see Garnett retire.

There's no easy path back. We're headed to a significant period of irrelevance. Rondo isn't a foundation for a rebuild.

But it's time to start walking the road back.

11 points is like 40 when you compare it to our team scoring rate tonight

It's sad to see Pierce go out like this.  There is no way this isn't his last game as a Celtic.  KG had a very good game at least but if this is it for him, it also sucks hard.  On the very very positive side though, maybe this loss will be embarrassing enough to compel Doc to walk away.  I can only wish.

Celtics have 49 points. Less than 10 minutes left in the game.

Hawks are a fun team to watch.  And a very likeable, classy group of guys...unlike the Knicks
