Can I say I loved Doc when all of this happened.
It looked like he was yelling at them like a parent to go to their rooms.

Fab Melo HOPPED when Doc started yelling at him.

As other have said, when you trash talk is as important as how you trash talk.  You want to trash talk before the game, go ahead.  You want to trash talk before a game, fine.  But you run up and gloat after the game is over, then you're being an idiot.

Crawford is what we thought he was.  He's a former wizard that acts like a current wizard.  Wish we still had Jason Collins on this team.

Ok, I don't know if he said that but you got the last three words right. I would have felt he crossed the line if he did talk about Melo's wife but he didn't so whatever non-issue. Guys talk smalk like what he said all the time.

the last word does not look like "up" to me.  Looks closer to what is being reported.

I don't like it. I'm not a fan of trash talk. But I know it's part of the game, and at this point two of my favorite Celtics ever are also two of the biggest trash talkers ever, so I deal with it.

But those guys were MVPs who could back it up. Crawford is a castoff who played zero minutes in this game.

If you can't back it up, you keep your pie-hole shut.

That's my rule anyway.

(I will say that there's something to be said for a bench guy trying to goad the other team's best player into a tech or something, but I don't give Crawford credit for being that smart - for one thing, the game was already over. I think he was just being a punk).

I do look forward to tomorrow, when Doc attempts to convince us that was Crawford said was the following:

"I beg your pardon fine sir, but given your teammate's unfortunate 3-14 shooting performance, I do believe that perhaps I warranted receiving more than that one accidental vote for Sixth Man of the Year. Thank you for your time, condolences on the loss, and I do hope that you and your very beautiful wife have a fine evening."

What I read Crawford said " that mother******, ****ed your wife" and apparently fab and Jordan keep saying honey nuts to melo when he was by the bench. You would think someone would tell him to grow up but I'm sure that's a moot point by now. I love Jordan's confidence and the somewhat fact he acts like he's 16 because its funny. I just don't like his influence on fab if that's all true.

Hopefully Melo doesn't go off for 50 on Friday because of Jordan.

Think it was smart to goad him. He's a goon - what more would we expect of him? Seemed like he got a reaction out of Felton. If he goaded him or anyone into fighting, that's a win for us. Besides, we beat 'em up on their home court after the "funeral" business. That's baddd.

For those concerned this will light a fire under Melo's butt, he hasn't done anything. Bass has been the unsung hero in this series - he single-handedly dug us out of that early hole that could've been disastrous. Hope people are recognizing that.

This is what he said! Thank you. I knew that it wasn't what everyone said it was. This makes even more sense because Felton said "I will kill you" (something like that). Had he said that to Melo I doubt Melo would have been as calm as he was, he would have at least tried to go towards Crawford, but he didn't, he just talked and turned to walk away until Felton got in it.

Hopefully Melo doesn't go off for 50 on Friday because of Jordan.

The thing is that Melo really does seem affected by some of this. He shot something like 3-12 after he and KG got into it in that other game.

And whether he likes it or not this is his first real playoff series where there are pressure and high expectations (apologies to the Denver fans out there) and he's shot 18-39 including 0-12 from 3 in the two biggest playoff games of his career. He's taken some flat-out terrible shots and his +/- is the worst among starters. Hardly an MVP-caliber performance; it might be the worst 30ppg series I've seen a player put together.

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

...If Crawford took a jab on Smith instead, I don't think I would be all that upset.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Ok few things...
1) We dont know WHAT was said as a pre cursor to this. We dont know in what context it came about. You think Crawford would just say it as he's walking by to be an ****?

2)These New york clowns wore all black to what was supposed to be our last game of the season-possibly KG's last ever game, and quite possibly Pierces last eve game.
They had the balls & audacity to try that crap on the Boston f*#%ng Celtics thinking/beleiving theyd walk out of there without getting their asses handed to them?

3) there are way too many people here talking about Jordan Crawford and how he belongs on the Wizards bla bla bla. He's listened to these jokers smack talk Jason Terry, smack talk our organisation and our city and Crawford is sticking up for all of the above because he's bought in to being a Celtic and feels protective of the winners (kg,pp,terry) that have changed his outlook as a pro basketball player.
He was facing his last game with them on his team and stood up for his crew.
Fact is we have no idea what any of those Knick idiots said but I would bet my life savings they said something with sour grapes involved after their epic fail at home.
Have a little more pride and dont be so quick to judge Crawford when he's confronted by a team of morons that are known for running their mouths.
New york nuggets see you in game 6 at the Gaahhhden baby!
It was supposed to be KG and Pierces funeral, this could signal the re-birth!
Grit and balls is all you need.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

Read that last line again. One more time.
