I'm sorry, but Jeff Green's *not* the future, he's a guy who STILL - how many years into his career? - hasn't shown any consistency at all. Occasionally spectacular, but you can't just think about those half-dozen games and forget all the other... well, forgettable ones.
Sully; when was the last time you heard of a back getting better?
KG's just about done; I'd call it 50/50 he comes back for another season, at best. And once he's gone, Pierce is out the door too, either via trade or retirement. Probably trade; he's still a [dang] good player.
Rondo's the only guy I'd count on as a potentially elite player going forward, but let's see how his petulance plays out when the team's in full-rebuild mode. I suspect it won't be pretty.
I'm rooting [dang] HARD for these guys to show some fire during these next few games, because I'm real worried that the end is neigh. Or, in the wise words of Michael Ray Richardson, "the ship be sinkin!"
