Boston lacks a starting big outside of KG. Nobody else on their roster is a starting-level talent at the PF position.
Trading Bass won't make that situation any better.
Sullinger's a starting-level talent if he plays as well as he did in January next season.
Not if he keeps fouling at an incredible rate.
rookie treatment. i believe he can and will control the foul rate he had this season, and i also believe that he will be better than bass, base on bball iq alone.
For every "rookie treatment" foul Sully got called for, two or three actual fouls were committed. Sully is not a good defender.
Now, that might change next year, but for now, he's not a starting-caliber PF. Neither is Bass.
Sully is one of the best rebounders on our team.
Fixed it for you.
Advanced statistics say that Sully is the second best defender on this team after KG. Sure he fouls a lot, but he gets to the right spots and he doesn't give up baskets. I'm not sure Sully is a starter yet, but I do consider him better than Bass.
Cool. Didn't know that. TP.
Still doesn't change my stance on Sully. Whenever he was on the floor, I knew he was going to hustle, rebound, and take up space, but I also knew he'd be a weak spot in the defense. Teams attacked him because of his size (or lack thereof), and at times, we suffered.
I do agree that he's better than Bass.
