Not sure... I think there will be some great talents by the time Danny picks. And if we keep this draft position, Danny could trade down and get a 2nd rounder too.
Trade out would make sense if you are getting a 2014 pick, but that's not happening with all those monster prospects. Now, if you trade this year's pick + players to get a building block for the future, that's ok. If not, you can get value from your pick.
I'd love the Cs to pick Dario Saric and stash him in a good Euroleague club for 2-3 years. He's 18, a super talented 6'10 combo forward, born in Sibenik just like Drazen Petrovic

He might be available at middle twenties, so if your top rated prospects are out of reach, you can invest for the future. The additional 2nd rounder could be useful to get Kenny Kadji, who will be 25 by Draft Day. He could contribute from the bench, and is doing fine for Miami FL, but being "old" his lack of "raw potential" will scare teams.
You could always get a good player with 17th pick, so unless a good trade is available, I don't see Ainge trading the pick.
