Boston Celtics Dream Line Up After KG and PP retires (Be Realistic Please)

Is not sure if Dany will built the team around Rondo or not. Igudala will be a great replacment for PP and Howard/Cousins for KG. But I am sure that KG and PP will be Cs for at least 2 seasons.

After 2-3 years the start-line up would be

If Rondo will be traded

That bolded lineup would be the Showtime Lakers all over again.

I'd probably take path #1 because I think a Cousins / Sullinger / Green front court would have us in contention for 10 years.

Cousins and Sullinger have the potential to just be physical dominant in the paint together.

I also like Jason Thompson and Jeff Greens' speed behind that muscle in the front court - a lot of versatility.

Thompson / Sully > Combination of muscle and speed
Cousins / Green > Combination of muscle and speed

I like Bradley's D at the point - but you need a capable drive and dish back up point guard behind him.

Tyreke Evans w3ith Reddick behind him is a great complimentary duo at the 2.

In my dream, the players who aren't yet in the league are future perennial All-Stars who are so good that Lee and Sully become rock-solid rotation players off the bench, and Jeff Green becomes the third option in the offense.

I'd especially love to have a franchise big man who can get 20 and 10 every night and constantly earns comparisons to Kevin Garnett.

How does rondo handle Bradley in practice???
To me that is a huge question. If Avery's defense (awesome) isn't a big deal for rondo then I'd be up for trading him if lee ontinues to show a good level.  Granted I would like all three but I think someone could overvalue Bradley.  Lee has a bit better size and is fine off bench, if we could add a Gerald Henderson as shooting guard that would spread flood for rondo and green.  I think gortat is quite possible as a center pick up.

I think that's a lineup that can compete with anyone.
If Rondo gets traded, it will only be for a gamechanger type player like maybe a Kyrie Irving, just for example.

Let's hope there's a new line-up next year. I'm not for running this back and getting another 7 seed. PP and KG need retire or go elsewhere for a champ run. Ainge missed the window to get something for them.

I don't like either plan.

Plan #1 doesn't have one single player who stands out to me as a star.  Cousins is close (future potential), but I don't think he'll ever actually be a lead dog.

Plan #2 is worse.  We have the star (Rondo), but not enough complementary talent.

If we can't get a guy like Cousins to go with Rondo, then we're better off building through the draft.  Neither of the two plans suggested will get us beyond the 2nd round.
