We haven't exactly had an easy time with this Bobcats team this year. I hope Green shows up as ANOTHER loss to the Bobcats would not be good towards our hope of gaining a 4 seed.

"That Mullens guy" is injured as has totaled 11 points over the last 4 games.

That's good for us then.

And I called him "That Mullens guy" because he is exactly that.
I don't follow his career or any of the bobcats.

i'm not sure why celtics fans think we let things happen as expected

oh...bobcats lose 10 straight? leave it to us to let them win their first in however many games?

oh...austin rivers hasn't scored in his last 5 games. leave it to us to let him get double digits vs us...at home.

get out

i expect the bobcats to lose by 1-5 points with us. lol
this will not be a blow out. and Jeff MAY get 20 points

Orlando nearly beat the Heat. Wizards beat the Heat, Thunder, Nuggets at home.  ::) This game isn't even over.

You guys don't get that bad teams are bad because they can't finish games.

I always see close games between the Kings and GSW/DEN/OKC/HOU/MIA/NYK/BKN/ATL etc. but they can never keep the momentum in the 2nd half. Once opposing teams realize who their opponent actually is (a 10-50 team), it's a breeze.

But yes, bad teams are troublesome for us. I expect a win nonetheless. They're not all pretty. Bass is 3-3 and Craw is getting us going.

So, yeah, anybody who thinks Green is ready to fill Pierce's shoes is just plain wrong.

At the same time, Pierce wasn't the only guy who took the game off tonight.  Lousy effort through three quarters.  We would have been better off forfeiting the game and giving everybody rest.

With Rondo hurt, taking Pierce out of the lineup gives us exactly zero playmakers on this team.  Pierce turns the ball over a lot when asked to make plays for others, but despite that he's still effective at it.  Green can't duplicate this ability.

I feel like Garnett could probably do it, but for some reason he's never been used as a facilitator with the Celtics.  Not really sure why.  Anyway, we just learned tonight that this team is nothing without Pierce.

With the way we played tonight rondo and pierce could have been there and it wouldn't have made a difference. We came to lose, plan and simple. I agree with your point about green tho.

Looks like the "real" Jeff Green is back.  You know, passive nowhere to be found Jeff.

Just when I think he's turned a corner, then this.  I ain't letting him fool me no more.

Jeff Green=average

He never left. A few good games doth not a player make.
