Very smart move. I laud Doc for this.

I bet Lee steps up most tonight, to be honest. Calling it right here.

Bummer.

I think it's good to give him some time to heal; we should beat up CHA anyways.

He is only 10 points behind Barkley. Wanted him to pass him tonight

Yeah, I get it.  It's just that the Captain was poised to pass Robert Parish for second all time games played as a Celtic if he played in every game this season.  Thought that would have been kind of cool.

Oh well.  It'd be nice to see a big game out of Jeff.

I just caught the post by MVPPierceNoJoke.   That would have been cool, too.

My thought exactly.
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, 'Thy will be done,' and those to whom God says, 'All right, then, have it your way.'

You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body.

Presumably vs. the Raps on Wednesday. Will be nice to see him do it in front of the home crowd.

Good news. Opportunity for J.Green to show what he can do in Pierce's place. No Pierce, no Rondo. Lots of touches and shot attempt opportunities for Jeff Green.

A crappy opponent in the Bobcats too. Don't need Pierce to beat them. Good moment for this.

Jeff Green drops 40 tonight. Calling it.
And a huge facial over that Mullens guy.

EDIT:

After his horrible game against OKC, I think he's gonna come back strong for this game. He tweeted a picture of him getting extra work in the gym yesterday.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is a good young defender.  He'll be a challenge for Green.  Looking forward to seeing how he responds.

"That Mullens guy" is injured as has totaled 11 points over the last 4 games.

We'll just have to settle for KG passing Jerry West  :)
